FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do we source our treasures?
Sustainable practices have been developed in sourcing quality items from private sellers, consignment selling and deceased estates. Occasionally we source stock from local (Victorian) community charities with a proven track record in assisting people in dire need. We consciously make the decision and effort to support ground roots charities who directly assist people with emergency housing, food, rent assistance and emotional support. Your purchases are directly helping put food on the table, providing shelter and supporting people in genuine need. We also utilise the skilled experience of our local community with passionate, talented souls who lovingly mend, repair and present these beautiful treasures for your consideration.
This direction is time consuming and multifaceted, but is vitally important in moving Gently Held Vintage forward in a truly compassionate way; so that our business can help others, as well as being a retail outlet and a source of quality vintage and preloved fashion and collectables. Supporting the community that supports and nurtures is paramount to our ethos.

Items with imperfections will be marked as ‘as is’ to inform buyers.

All secondhand electrical goods have been checked, tagged and tested by an accredited ATTA professional tester and electronics engineer for your safety. If for any reason the item is faulty when you get home, please return the item with your receipt to Gently Held Vintage for a full refund.
